I urge the Commission to reject maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz and support maps drawn by nonpartisan staff.

Comment:

I support transparency by rejecting any maps that could be tarnished by the ongoing, unreported lobbying to gerrymander legislative districts for the GOP. Reject maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz and support maps drawn by nonpartisan staff. thank you, Theresa Tomich

Comment:

It has come to my attention that certain members of the committee are attempting to influence the Supreme Court in their final decision on the approval, disapproval, or changing the maps that have been submitted by the independent redistricting commission. I would hope that the Court maintain a factual examination of said maps and issue an unbiased decision on behalf of the citizens of the State of Colorado. The fate of our great state depends on neutrality when it comes to establishing such important boundaries for both congressional and legislative districts. The election process for fair and balanced populations of voters is critical for our republic-based government to function properly and to the benefit of our citizens and lands. Thank you for your time and attention to my comments.

Comment:

The redistricting commission is designed to be bipartisan. Please don’t allow one party to attempt to gerrymander the districts to benefit one party over the other.

Comment:

I urge the commission to follow the will of the electorate and take a stand for transparency by rejecting any maps that could be tarnished by the ongoing, unreported lobbying to gerrymander legislative districts for the GOP. Specifically the commission must reject maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz and support maps drawn by nonpartisan staff.

Comment:

Please reject the "last minute" attempt by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz to gerrymander the Colorado legislature maps. It's a desperate attempt to highjack the process and does not meet any of the criteria for redistricting! Thanks in Advance, Mark Kastler

Comment:

Please reject maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnet and Kottwitz, they are working with a non-disclosing and unregistered Republican operatives lobbying to shove through a last minute set of maps to the Supreme Court that would fundamentally alter the make-up of the state senate and house, almost certainly ensuring control for Colorado Republicans over the the next decade. This makes the Independent Redistricting Commissions pointless. Please support the maps drawn by nonpartisan staff.

Comment:

The maps being submitted by Barnett and Kottwitz undermine the purpose and will of the voters in appointing a nonpartisan commission. The maps drawn by the nonpartisan staff fulfill that criteria and should not be undermined by these two partisans

Comment:

I urge you to reject maps submitted at the last minute by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwit. They would gerrymander the state for partisan benefit. Please submit only the maps worked out carefully by the whole commission.
