The Colorado Voters approved a measure to have a nonpartisan and diverse committee draw the new redistricting maps for Colorado. Only maps submitted by this committee should be accepted for defining the Colorado Districts. Please adhere to the voters will.

It is imperative that Colorado’s state legislative redistributing be designed according to strict non-partisan guidelines & not by Commissioners Barnett & Kottwitz.

Do not accept the last minute redistricting maps submitted by the two Republican commissioners trying to alter them for their own parties benefit. The maps submitted by our Colorado Independent Redistricting Commission are fair, clear and equal for all of us.

I am urging you to take a stand for transparency by rejecting any maps that could be tarnished by the ongoing, unreported lobbying to gerrymander legislative districts for the GOP. Everyone I know is concerned and we were all satisfied by what the independent commission
had shown us clearly. This is not democracy when one side can change what the independent commissions promised. Please take our voices into consideration. This is our state!
Thank you
Patricia

The non-partisan commission must adhere to the principle of its founding, namely to create a neutral map for legislative districts. Any attempt by current commissioners or others to distort this purpose must be resisted.

Please stand against partisan gerrymandering by rejecting the partisan recommendations by Barnett, Kottwitz, and partisan groups. The independent, non-partisan drawing of congressional districts is a cornerstone of our election integrity.

Comment:
I urge the Legislative Redistricting Commission and the Colorado Supreme Court to uphold the transparency of the Legislative Redistricting Process at both levels. This act will earn the trust and respect of Colorado's voters for the final Colorado House and Senate district lines. Please reject any late map entries by any individuals or groups that would call into question to transparency of the process or hint at political party attempts of gerrymandering.
Thank you for considering my input.

I am really begging this commission to be intentional in their privilege of deciding how we are represented. I am begging you to not give in to any legislative control/power that continues to intentionally encourage gerrymandering, and or discrimination in regards to economic and or racial identity. Please be intentional with an equity lens, and focus on an anti-racist lens.
