The citizens of Colorado voted to implement a nonpartisan legislative and congressional redistricting process. The commission worked hard to develop new maps. When they could not agree, the nonpartisan, neutral redistricting staff submitted a final set of legislative maps to them. This is precisely as the voters intended. Now two of the redistricting commission members are pushing their own set of maps. I strongly urge you to reject these maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz and support the maps drawn by nonpartisan staff. To accept them will subvert the will of the people. Thank you.

STOP GOP operatives from lobbying GOP members of the commissions and vise versa. STOP GPO gerrymandering. I thought this process was supposed open and transparent and non-partisan. Obviously that's not the case. Republicans can't win at the polls so use gerrymandering to win. Republicans want to pick their voters instead of Coloradan picking their representatives. This whole process has been impossible for the public to follow with so many commissioner pet maps posted. How can the public keep up? What a mess. And stop with the "communities of interest". I have no trust in this commission or eventual final maps.
