I am a western slope resident and voter. After review of the proposed redistricting map. It is very clear that the Club 20 Map is the only fair proposed map for western slope residents. It is very, very, very unlikely that front range influence would adequately represent the resident's agricultural, water, or political views of our western slope needs, and values. As the needs of western slope residents are vastly different in every aspect from front range needs. Please, stand for our small voice over here on the western slope, and use the Club 20 map for the upcoming redistricting in our state. As it is currently, our voice is too small here on the western slope. The other proposed Senate and House district maps would likely leave us voiceless, and western slope residents potentially very, very disgruntled and angry! Please use Club 20 redistricting map!!! Rural Coloradoans deserve to have their voices heard in Washington, D.C.!https://images.app.goo.gl/asUimYUwz7NGu5We9

Broomfield cannot be split up into two districts! As a community, we are impacted in many areas (water, public health, oil and gas, transportation, just to name a few). By splitting our voting interest in two, you will be making our collective vote and voice inconsequential in both districts. Please do not finalize this redistricting with Broomfield divided. Look for another solution. Respectfully, Leslie O'Brien

We spent 20 years trying to extricate Eagle County from CD2. We succeeded in getting the western portion in CD3 after the last redistricting. Now you propose putting us back and we DO NOT want to go. We have nothing, zero, nada in common with Boulder or Larimer counties. We need to stay with the Western slope where we share water issues, resort challenges to say nothing of the I70 nightmare. Keep us joined with counties that share our social issues, economic similarities and environmental needs.

The Commission is not listening!!! Douglas County, especially Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, and the northern parts of Parker and Castle Rock have NOTHING todo with the eastern plains!!! We are part of the Denver-metro area!!! Please put us in Districts 6 or 7, NOT District 4!!! Most people in Douglas County are urban with regards to living, jobs, schools, etc. - not rural!!! Move us into District like us? If District 4 needs more people, take area from lower District 3, like Pueblo to Trinidad, NOT Douglas County!!!

Go back to the PRELIMINARY MAP from June 23. It is the only one that makes sense. The Western Slope needs to be WHOLE. COMMON INTEREST is not met in the new map unlike how it was met in the Preliminary Map. Our COMMON INTEREST is in the Western Slope; not the Eastern Slope where Boulder and Larimer counties are located. The last time we were with Boulder, I felt DISENFRANCHISED. The needs and interests of Eagle County are not the same as Boulder and Larimer counties. Let us be totally in CD 3. GERRYMANDERING is prevalent in the Roaring Fork Valley portion of Eagle County. First, this section of the county is already separated from the larger portion of Eagle County by an unimproved mountain pass which is closed in the winter. Otherwise we have to go around Glenwood Canyon and that, too, is unrealiable. Second, when looking at the Roaring Fork Valley section of Eagle County on the map, there is obvious GERRYMANDERING . You have to enlarge the interactive map to see how our community is split. We should be treated better by the state of Colorado. These are two of the items the commission was to address. Keep the Western Slope whole. Get rid of the Gerrymandering. PLEASE WORK ON KEEPING ALL OF EAGLE COUNTY AND ESPECIALLY THE ROARING FORK VALLEY SECTION OF EAGLE COUNTY IN CD 3. I still feel the best map you have made was the Preliminary Map. Your initial effort showed a lot of thought and I loved it.

Dear Commissioners, I am very concerned that Fort Collins is being put with Weld County as a congressional district. We have more in common with the communities in our Larimer County. You should try to keep Larimer County all together in the same district. We have technology companies, a university, breweries, and lots of open space. Weld County is more concerned with oil and gas plus agriculture.

Why? Why would we redistrict? Routt county is a ranching area with a lot of ways to recreate. It may be that a lot of folks who come here or buy second homes here are not of the same mindset, but those of us who do live here do NOT want to be governed by the likes of someone who is in Boulder. We are very different. This has been and hopefully will stay a more Republician county. We believe in the constitution and freedom and choice. Please for the love of God stop this! We (I) do not want it. Thank you, Celia

1. Colorado is figuratively 5+ states. (Front Range, Eastern Plains, San Luis Valley, Western Slope, Four Corners, etc.) They all have different interests that should be represented. Trying to balance the state by population numbers will not accomplish that. 2. Competitiveness must be achieved - with respect - based on who lives there, and their interests. Combining a major population centers with rural interests does not do that Thank you for listening and the work you are doing.

I find it untenable that the new redistricting is splitting Broomfield County in 2. Does this mean Broomfield county will have to work with two reps for emergency health and safety, (floods, disaster relief) water, infrastructure, any federal issues? In addition, splitting 2 neighborhoods Broadlands and Anthem seens unnecessary. I am afraid the values I moved to Broomfield for will be washed away with this redistricting: open space, health and safety, restricting oils development away from schools and residential areas, etc

Lumping Eagle County into a district with Boulder DOES NOT fairly represent the residents of Eagle County. We are much more closely aligned with the Western Slope than with Boulder and Summit. Since Boulder has a much larger population and is more urban, this would unfairly penalize the mountain communities that have different challenges, demographics, and geography. Eagle has a very small diverse population that better aligns with the western slope communities. Thank you for allowing the comments to the get to an appropriate redistricting map. Sincerely, Michael Westmiller
