Comment:
The Redistributing Committee’s map submitted to the Commission seems to come close to fairly representing the interests of the people of Colorado, though I think it skews slightly more Republican than the views of most people of the state. I urge the Commission to be totally transparent if/when it considers any changes to the map recommended by the Committee. There are rumors that a Republican group is working behind the scenes to influence the Commission to make changes to the map so that Republican views are weighted even more. We have enough issues with elections and voter credibility right now due to the “Big Lie” of the presidential election being stolen from Trump, so we must protect the fairness and integrity of our State districts. The entire population of Colorado deserves no less. Thank you.

I want you to stand for transparency on our state redistricting map. Reject the gerrymandering that these two underhanded republicans,, Barnett and Kottwitz, are pushing. The redistricting is supposed to be bipartisan. Don't let the minority ruin this process.

Comment:
I feel dismay that "republicans" have sided with conspiracy theorists, Q-Anon fantasies, and the fascist leanings of white supremacy. Conservatism seems to have lost its meaning and sunk into fear, bigotry and isolationism. Bobert and her backers do not represent any sort of American dream I hold. Money has purchased power and those holding the money and power have shown themselves over and over to be not the sort of people to help anyone out in a storm of any kind. If this is too broad a brush, please explain why because I do not see it any other way.

Comment:
The committee is supposed to be non-partisan and working to best represent Coloradans in the new maps. The people of the state want fair maps, not more partisan politics. We should have fair representation for minority groups, and the maps should adequately represent the demographic, racial/ethnic, and ideological makeup of the state.
Gerrymandered maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz should be rejected. They're not being created in the interest of fair public policy and communities of interest, they're being submitted as a way to try to keep Republican power.

Comment:
I am deeply concerned that the redistricting committee is NOT non-partisan based on information I gathered regarding partisan actors posing (registering) as Independent or Democrat in order to influence the the process unfairly. Please make sure that this does not happen as it will further erode voter confidence in the democratic process. That confidence has already taken a beating in Mesa County thanks to an unhinged County Clerks and Recorders office with Tina Peters.

Comment:
I am urging the commission to accept the redistricting recommendations as proposed by the independent panel. Any attempts to alter these recommendations should be publicly aired and subject to full transparency
Thank you

Reject any and all maps being proposed by Barnett and Kottwitz. The last thing an independent state like Colorado needs is gerrymandering by Republicans. It is critical that we remain independent in order to preserve our democracy.

I am alll for transparency! It appears that Kottwitz and Barnett are trying to get through last minute changes to the non
partisan redistricting maps. Please reject these changes. I learned in kindergarten this would not be fair.

Comment:
Republican legislative Redistricting Commissioners Hunter Barnett (R) and Aislinn Kottwitz (R) are working with non-disclosing and unregistered GOP operatives to shove through last-minute maps that are not transparent to the public and will lessen the influence of several communities of interest. Please stand up for responsible governance and transparency and reject these secret, biased power-stealing maps.
