How would you like it if I removed your representative from your district? Re-districting according to race is not acceptable now and never was. The western slope is the western slope. So leave it that way. We are rural and small towns. We have nothing in common with the front range. None of your problems or solutions apply to any of us. Do not change any of our district at all. It is not broken and please don't fix it. Just say no thanks to all proposals.
Thank you

I understand that the folks that have been in charge of redistricting have been working in a non partisan way. So good job working together.
I am concerned that while more people live on the front range, they are very new to the state and don't understand the priorities that are different on the western slope and mountain communities. I think there is a heavier weight attached to the front range than the rural communities and that is understandable. However, the priorities of ranchers, farmer, vineyards, small towns, need to recognized and prioritized in a manner where that way of life can be continued without people weighing in that are recent to the state and won't give a knowledgeable comprehension of the different problems in those communities. I don't think all people get the idea, that just because you can have an opinion doesn't mean you should. I am not satisfied that people who need the land to have a livelihood are represented properly.
I don't think I care for the latest plan. Please be sure to consider the rural areas of the Western Slope, Mountain communities and Eastern plains a little more carefully.
Thank you for your consideration.

Fort Collins and Springfield are not a common area of representation! The northern front range and southeast Colorado do not share the same issues and the rural voice will be squashed through this poorly drawn map.

Please revert to previous maps and districting. Colorado is diverse, and we all need a chance to have input.
I am in a district in NW CO that would be combined with Boulder. The new districts fail to reflect the differences in water administration, ag industry areas, and social landscape between eastern and western parts of the state. Our needs, culture, communities, and natural resources have little to nothing in common. The minority (agriculture and rural towns) needs a voice and this will silence us further.

I heartily object that your recent FIRST STAFF PLAN MAP completely changed the PRELIMINARY CONGRESSIONAL MAP released in June, despite the voices of the people in these districts…….For instance, you have ignored the voices of those on the Western Slope who object to splitting it up…..this affects all communities, and your “redistricting” is taking on the flavor of a political agenda, which is the opposite of the description of your efforts.

This current map does not take into concerns rural Colorado. It puts a major city in each district and leaves our voice completely out of the discussions. Please revised review the representative all Colorado.

you should listen to the people who are being redistrict instead of the people in Denver

You TOTAL disregards the interest of the rural and western slope communities by splitting up Laura Bogart district. I know you are all are leftist and not true American believers but we deserve our voice heard and represented. Do not play favorites and go back to the first map. With 4 districts for the Democrats and 3 for the Republicans and other 1 up for grabs. II know you hate Laura but she is a great legislator and cares for the people she represents. As a native of Colorado be fair for ALL voices not your socialist/leftist voices, YOUR VEIWS ARE RUINING MY STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This proposed map lumps Fort Collins in with eastern Colorado in CD4. Fort Collins is a majority liberal town and eastern CO is not. The goal of redistricting is to group communities who share interests together — yet the millennial, urban, university town of Fort Collins has little in common with the rural, agricultural communities of the eastern plains. The public policy concerns of Fort Collins — regarding transportation, environment, employment, and social justice, among others — are not the same concerns that the people of eastern CO have. We should not be lumped together in CD4 as our demographics and daily lives are much, much different; rather, the Fort Collins of today should be viewed similarly as Boulder or Denver would be. Thank you.

Please change the current plan to include one Western Slope district and change the Front Range advantage to the detriment of the rural counties. Please use the input given during the initial hearing and stop playing politics with redistributing.
