I am in support of the most recent Congressional redistricting map that includes Routt and Moffat counties with Larimer and Boulder counties. The issue with affordable housing that is a shared concern of all of these counties could effectively be addressed by our legislator. I also believe that the ranching/farming interests of Northwest Colorado align with concerns in Larimer County, especially since the "Ag School" (CSU) is in Larimer County.
Additionally, healthcare issues could also be more consistently addressed across this district since UC Health has a presence in Routt, Larimer and Boulder counties.

I just saw a proposed map of District 4 where Douglas County is included. The needs of rural Colorado do not have anything to do with my suburb in Highlands Ranch. This is not representation. This is a brazen attempt at undercutting the needs of a METRO district. Please do not use this map for our congressional representation. I'm literally in shock at how bad this is.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on Colorado's plans for redistricting. I am in favor of the amended version of LULAC map, which, in my opinion, results in better political balance and better representation of communities that share common economic, historic, cultural, and geographic interests. Specifically, I am opposed to including Boulder city within a western Slope's district and splitting the I-70 corridor.

In my opinion, it would be ridiculous to move Fort Collins into District 4! Fort Collins businesses and culture are OBVIOUSLY more aligned with Loveland, Longmont, Boulder, and Denver than we are with the eastern plains.
As a Colorado native and owner of technology startup company, I firmly believe that Fort Collins economy, interests, and growth opportunities are tied much more to manufacturing and high-tech than ever before. Our community also values the arts, children's play areas, craft breweries, high-end restaurants, and bicycle paths.
I beg the redistricting committee not to be swayed by dirty politics that reference "old Fort Collins roots" which refer to CSU's agricultural associations many decades ago. Fort Collins is not an ag town anymore. It has morphed into a city. Cows and crops are no longer our primary contributions to this great state!

Combining Western Colorado with Boulder makes no sense. These are very different population groups with far different interests and priorities, making it difficult for a member of Congress to adequately represent his/her constituents. Districts should be more homogeneous so that interests within the district largely align.

Putting rural north west Colorado in the same district with Larimer and Boulder Counties cancels out the rural west slope . The west slope has little in commin with the urban front range. The preliminary map looked better to me.

Communities of interest do not combine very urban areas with heavily rural, agricultural communities. Most living in rural areas cannot comprehend the issues facing large cities and vice versa. Many living in Fort Collins have no idea the day to day lives of those living and farming and ranching in Eastern Colorado. These do not fit together in communities of interest.
