To the committee; The current staff plan discriminates against rural Colorado. It smothers the rural vote by overloading rural Colorado with urban populations with vastly different views and needs. This is not what Colorado needs. We all will have a better state when rural Colorado has representation. Sincerely, Roger Hickert

As drawn now the redistricting is grossly un fair to people residing in northwest and western Colorado. Placing them in the same liberal district as Boulder gives the more conservative western Colorado residents no say in who their representative will be because of their smaller populations. Who the people of Boulder want to represent them, the people of northwestern will be forced to have represent them. Farmers and ranchers should not be represented by someone from the big city.

Please keep redistricting fair for the entire state. Denver and surrounding areas do not speak for everybody…All voices should be heard !! Patrick Schupbach

Dear Commission, Please reconsider the current draft map. It is absurd to separate Fort Collins from other front Range Communities and alight it with rural communities at the eastern edge of Colorado. We here in Fort Collins share so much more with other Front Range Communities than we do with those currently in our draft district: economic interests, tourism and recreation activities, higher education, access to mountainous terrain and even direct bus lines etc. our concerns around those issues need to be shared by our congressional representative! Garfield County's connection to neighboring counties in the new CD2 is a much needed change. We have many similarities in terms of agriculture, outdoor recreation, tourism, public lands and our shared interest when it comes to water. The fact that there are two governmental organizations covering that area (Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado and Northwest Colorado Council of Governments) is an indication that the governments in NW Colorado share many interests and concerns. These are just some of the reasons why I support Garfield county being in the new CD2 with the northwest Colorado counties. Thank you.

Hello, Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback on the latest proposed maps for congressional districts. I live in Glenwood Springs, and I am pleased to see the new map reflects much of our community, especially with regards to our Latino community members and our Indigenous community members. Although I am not Latina, I do consider myself an ally of this community. I am a teacher and a coach in Glenwood Springs, and I very much support all of my students and families, many of whom are Latino. Glenwood Springs and its surrounding area is definitely diverse in many ways. Tourism is a big driver in our community, but ranching, agriculture and other businesses also make up our community. One challenge that all of us face in my area is access to affordable health insurance. Thank you for your careful consideration of so many different factors in your development of cogressional districts.

Please draw fair redistributing maps to benefit all Coloradans, not those just in the Denver area.

I live in Highlands Ranch and consider myself suburban - not rural. Why is the congressional redistricting putting me in with rural counties? This is political and NOT right, except far-right. Please fix this! Phyllis Graham 720=524=6057

I am writing to express my concern with how Douglas County is represented in the redistricting map. Douglas County is a suburban area, with concerns and issues that are vastly different than those of the Eastern Plains. For adequate representation in Congress, Douglas County needs to be represented with the Front Range.

Dear Sir/Madam: I am against the proposed redistricting, because I fear that it is purely for political reasons and not to benefit the community it will affect. It is wrong to allow politicians to overreach into communities they have no meaningful connection with.
