It appears that your hard work is paying off. This appears to be a fair plan for the redistricting. Thanks, Helen Cahill (submitted by email 9/11/21)

Why was Loveland carved out of CD2? It makes no sense at all to group a city that supported mask mandates and COVID vaccines with cities in Weld County that did not. How would a member of Congress possibly represent our interests and those of Greeley, Eaton and other cities in Weld, Logan and Morgan Counties?

Thank you all for your hard work. I approve of the redistricting. Since I live on the Front Range, I appreciate that we are separate from the western slope. (submitted by email 9/11/21)

I so hope you pass the current redistricting staff map for Park County. This map keeps the front range separate from the western slopes. It keeps Park County whole and is fair to both Republican and Democratic parties which is what democracy should look like. Thanks for your hard work and I really hope it gets approved. Dear Committee Members, Thank you for all your hard work on redistricting. Thanks also for keeping Park County one cohesive district. It was difficult discussing county agendas when we were split between CD-2 and CD-5. Thanks again. Dennis Haberstumpf (submitted by email 9/11/21)

This makes sense. The mountain communities have much in common and that commonality should be recognized in a districting plan. Thank you for the opportunity to comment. Catherine Meyrick (submitted by email 9/10/21)

I have major concerns where due to my zip code our area is being moved into the 4th from the 2nd Congressional District. This makes little sense considering we are in Larimer County(not Weld), our school District is also Larimer/Poudre and Library; and if we are called to Jury Duty it is again in Larimer not Weld. Our values and interests align with those of Larimer and we are frequently reminded of that when voicing opinions to Town of Windsor Board members. Not only do the Windsor people of power not view us as Windsor they discount our values as well. Our voting reflects where we live and the life we want for our families although we share Fire and Police with Windsor no other life style amenities align with them such as education and judicial systems. Please reconsider this quirky alignment and put us with the Community that supports our children and values in CD#2.

Redistricting OF WESTERN COLORADO is not in the best interest of the western side of the state. It does not recognize the differences and needs of this part of our great state. Vote NO on this bill. No compromise here.

I write to thank you for taking public comments into consideration in regard to Park County. By not dividing the county, I believe there will be more balance of Republicans and Democrats. Your action with this matter reflects the practice of democracy. Thank you. (submitted by email 9/10/21)
