I heard a rumor some bait and switch on the maps was taking place prior to the Supreme Court approval. That would mean that we the people just lost our voice. We had a chance to see your work, comment on your work and the maps last I heard before the rumor, were settled. To switch at the last minute without time for public comment is an assault on the we the people. So if this rumor is true, I will trust you to fight against allowing it on the grounds not of partisanship, but of principle. A core principle of US Democracy is that we are a government BY the people. If you cut the people out of the process, you violate the core principles upon which this democracy was founded.

Hello, I recently heard about the 3rd staff map and some counter-proposals. I moved to Jefferson County about a year ago and I'm not sure the 3rd staff map would best represent our district. To keep communities of interest together, I'm in favor of an alternative draft. I saw a CPR article about CLLARO's proposal, and I think it would be a better representation of our district as well as others. Please consider their proposal above the 3rd staff map. Hello Commissioners, I am Christopher Wake and I purchased a home to live in Wheat Ridge a year ago. I have met a few of my Latino neighbors, and I feel that the 3rd staff map does little to help them with proper representation in our district. I've been following the proposals and process, and I think the map proposed by CLLARO is the most fair for our community. Thank you for considering my testimony.
