I believe the Schusters Map is the best for Colorado. As a Puebloan native, it keeps the agriculture and water issues more closely aligned with other southern counties as well as the sizes of post secondary institutions and their missions are comparable. Economic development for our part of the state is in dire need and a common vision is so necessary. Please strongly recommend this version of redistricting our state.

I hope you will reconsider putting Loveland into CD-4 and let them remain in CD-2. I am a member of many groups that have Ft. Collins members and we like sharing ideas and hopes for the future. Our public policy concerns are similar to Fort Collins and have nothing in common at all with Greeley and other Weld areas. We share bike paths and county parks. These are so important to the maintaining competent people that care about the wild life and outdoor activities that we on the front range feel is so important. Please put Loveland back in CD=2 so the mountain communities can continue their work with river watershed restoration and fire prevention that we together have worked for the past 8 years. Thank you for your consideration.

Hello, My name is Adam Olson and I am here to show support for the Schuster redistricting map. I am a lifelong constituent of Colorado. This map make the most sense in that it creates both safe GOP and DEM districts, and splits the rest of the state into bipartisan competitive districts, allowing for diverse and inclusive future elections. Thank you for your time and for considering my opinion. Adam Olson

The Schuster Map keeps Southwest Colorado together, keeps the Roaring Fork Valley together, and keeps the San Luis Valley together with Pueblo and Pueblo's agricultural region. It keeps more communities of interest whole than the Second Staff Map. I am in favor of the Schuster Map.

Shuster Map makes most sense for Mesa County.

Hello, I am a resident and employee of the Town of Crested Butte and am writing in favor of utilizing the Schuster Map. While I will keep my comment brief, I believe I represent my community in the desire for competitive districts. As a more progressive community with deep values for our environment, our surrounding natural beauty, and our mountain way of life, we are frequently forced to accept District 3 representatives that reflect the direct opposite of our values. Our Town vehicle fleet is converting to all electric, much of our town is aiming towards being powered by renewable energy, and our current district mapping holds with those who favor fossil fuels. We’re concerned with human rights, moving forward as a society, and having a representative who upholds those values. While many of us own guns and hunt to sustain ourselves, myself included, we don’t need Boebert waving hers in our face. Please consider the most competitive districts possible. We need the chance to elect the best officials, and we need more competition to do so. Thank you.

I would like to see competitive Congressional Districts in Colorado. When there is no competition in the general election extremists are allowed to be unchecked by voters. The competition to win the party primary encourages extreme positions that leave many in the District essentially unrepresented.

I live in Paonia, CO and strongly encourage the committee to go with the Schuster Map. It keeps cohesive communities together and keeps CD3 competitive. Thank you, Rob Miller

I am writing in support of the Schuster Congressional District Map. This map is the the best map for giving a voice to underprivileged communities in Southern Colorado. It keeps the high-poverty and heavily Hispanic areas of Pueblo and Huerfano Counties, and the San Luis Valley, together; without diluting their votes by tiring them in with areas with drastically different economic and cultural priorities. Please adopt this map.

Hi Commissioners - I am writing in support of the Schuster map, which most closely upholds the intent of Amendment Y, to make more districts competitive. I appreciate that it respects different COI far more more strongly than other maps - it keeps Latino and ag communities together, it keeps extractive resource counties together, it separates from CD3 but keeps together the counties of the Roaring Fork Valley. Please consider the Schuster, strongly. Thank you!
