I first moved to Arapahoe County in 1980 and our slice of Colorado has changed so much since the area in which I live was once Littleton, and now Centennial. One thing that has remained consistent, however, is the backbone of Arapahoe County, and how whomever our congressperson is has treated us as a whole collective, and we have had consistent treatment and messaging. It would be wholly irresponsible in the redistributing move to break up our county into two districts. I strongly urge you to keep Arapahoe as a part of one district when the time to redraw the map comes. This is for the good of the people; the cities within, and the school districts. There are so many other options. Please choose another whereby we can remain whole. Thank you.

Redistricting needs to be done in a non-partisan way. Humans cannot be non-partisan. The current plan with equal numbers of Democrats, Republicans, and unaffiliated members will just end up being a highly partisan back-room fight for the unaffiliated seats. If we're serious about non-partisan redistricting, we simply need a computer program that will work on an algorithm that has a prime directive of dividing the state into districts that have no more than four sides each. State borders should be the only sides allowed that are not straight lines. The second order of the algorithm would be to place an equal number of voters in each block. This would not be a terribly complex program to build. This is all that needs to be done and it NEEDS to be done. We will never have non-partisan humans working on this. Any plan that allows zig-zaggy lines will be a plan that is choosing voters for partisan purposes.

Please do not change Nederlands voting district. We live Joe a egide and he is a much better fit to represent the views of the people in this area. In this area we are way more like minded with our current set up than the demographic of the Western slope

The new district 8 breaks up too many counties. I am a Ft Lupton resident and do not consider us a a big metro area. We are more rural than urban and have more in common with the rest of Weld County. We don't have the common interests in Adams. Jefferson and Broomfield counties that we do in Weld County. It is an insult to include us in anything to do with Thornton considering what Thornton has done to Weld County in the past on what they are doing to us now. Ft Lupton should not have a representative from a huge metro area. We need a representative that would understand our needs. Broomfield is anti oil and gas. Ft Lupton and Platteville have the majority of our business income from the oil and gas industry. I thought the districts would share common interests. Ft Lupton shares more common interests with Weld County not the Denver Metro area.

We have traffic and other infrastructure issues that are best served by our current district. The new proposed district does not serve our best interests.

I expect the Redistricting Commission to do everything in its power to make sure the 3rd CD is competitive, by balancing Democrat and Republican voters in the district, as is required by law;

I am against the proposal to split Boulder county between 2 districts and would like to propose an alternative configuration. I live in Nederland which is in the western part of the county. My area is very tied to the rest of the county and especially the city of Boulder. The NB RTD bus line gets me from home in Ned down canyon to Boulder for work regularly. I feel that our representation should reflect the reality that all of Boulder county is highly connected. We rise and fall together as a county and with many of the other communities along the front range. I have included a map that I created for the congressional district that keeps our front range communities together. It makes a compact district with the right population number that makes sense to me. Please consider this when making the final map. Thanks.
