It is appalling that Republican legislative Redistricting Commissioners Hunter Barnett (R) and Aislinn Kottwitz (R) are working with non-disclosing and unregistered GOP operatives to shove through last-minute maps. The last 11 months of idiocy and lies following the 2020 election show the perils of allowing this sort of blatant gerrymandering to continue. Please reject the gerrymandered maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwit. Please accept the proposals from the nonpartisan redistricting Committee.

I am concerned that legislative Redistricting Commissioners Hunter Barnett (R) and Aislinn Kottwitz (R) are working with non-disclosing and unregistered GOP operatives to advance last-minute maps that would almost certainly ensure control for Colorado Republicans over the next decade. I hope the Independent Redistricting Commissions avoids the pitfall of partisan gerrymandering.

Please, reject maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz and support maps drawn by nonpartisan staff.

We all need to take a stand for transparency. Reject the gerrymandered maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz. What the Republican Party is doing to the United States Of America is UnConstitutional and UnAmerican! Hold the line for TRUE Americans!

I had hoped for better from a commission to redraw the congressional districts in Colorado. This commission is supposed to be fair and balanced and yet the districts are heavily weighted in favor of Republican control. Also there is rumor that 2 commissioners, Barnett and Kottwitz, are engaged in back-room dealings to skew the maps even more. Please reject anything that Barnett and Kottwitz bring to the table, unless it can be fully realized that the information is fair and balanced. Please reject the blatant last-minute gerrymandering attempts of Redistricting Commissioners Hunter Barnett (R) and Aislinn Kottwitz (R) on behalf of the Republican Party. I was appalled to learn that the two Commissioners are working with non-disclosing and unregistered GOP operatives lobbying to shove through a set of maps to the Supreme Court—but not surprised. The final staff maps are by no means overly favorable to the Democratic Party. Please have the courage to stand behind your work.

For the sake of our Democracy you must choose transparency and fair representation over partisan gerrymandering being pushed by representatives Barnett and Kottwitz. We the people demand fair representation and those two DO NOT represent my ideas or values.

My community's public policy concern is that gerrymandered maps are trying to silence voices and erode participation in voting. It seems that Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz are pushing gerrymandered maps. Please reject their ideas. Thank you.

Your work to protect free and fair elections is crucial and was decreed by the residents of Colorado. Unfortunately, I am aware of the efforts by Republican legislative Redistricting Commissioners Hunter Barnett (R) and Aislinn Kottwitz (R), in conjunction with non-disclosing and unregistered GOP partners, to push through last-minute maps that are gerrymandered and would result in districts that do not reasonably represent the population of Colorado. Maps such as those being put forward by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz are entirely counter to the point of your commission and the stated will of the Colorado populace. I urge you to take a stand for transparency and avoid considering any maps that are not non-partisan or that have any hint of efforts to gerrymander the districts. Please respect the will of the citizens of Colorado and reject the gerrymandered maps being submitted by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz.

Redistricting must be non-political and transparent. We are a free country, and if we are to remain so, we must insure that every vote counts in an election. Gerrymandering is wrong, and immoral. We must all reject the gerrymandered maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz.
