I wish to express my full support of the currently proposed congressional districts, but also to just as strongly reject the maps being pushed by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz. We don't need partisanship injected in the drawing of these maps. I fully support the maps already drawn by the nonpartisan staff. Thank you. Carl Hamm

I am writing to urge you to take a stand for transparency by rejecting any maps that could be tarnished by the ongoing, unreported lobbying to gerrymander legislative districts for the GOP. I would implore you to reject maps being pushed by Commissioners Hunter Barnett and Aislinn Kottwitz and support maps drawn by nonpartisan staff. Barnett and Kottwitz are working with non-disclosing and unregistered GOP operatives lobbying to shove through a last-minute set of maps to the Supreme Court that would fundamentally alter the make-up of the state senate and house, almost certainly ensuring control for Colorado Republicans over the next decade. This is a mockery of everything that Independent Redistricting Commissions are meant to stand for. Thank you for your consideration during this process. Patty Coen

If you allow redistricting to unfairly and unethically favor Republicans over Democrats, as the dirty-trick Republicans, Hunter Barnett and Aislinn Kottwitz, propose, not only their names, but all of your names on the Commission will go down in infamy as weak and unprincipled enemies of democracy.

Please support the final legislative maps drawn by the nonpartisan staff. Reject the gerrymandered maps that Hunter Barnett and Aislinn Kottwitz are trying to push through. These maps do not represent the people of Colorado fairly.

Hello. I have just learned about the recent maps submitted and promoted by Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz. I am disturbed by reports these maps resulted from ongoing, unreported lobbying to gerrymander legislative districts for the GOP. I am a strong proponent of nonpartisan redistricting and transparency through this process. I urge you to take a stand against this and any other redistricting maps drawn up by partisan staff. Thank you for taking my input into consideration.

I am 100% appalled that bold partisanship has reared its ugly head in this commission, threatening to tarnish the good work of many. Commissioners Barnett and Kottwitz are making a naked power play. Please support the legislative maps drawn by nonpartisan staff instead.

I voted for a non-partisan body to draw the new boundaries and I believe the final set of maps from that body reflect an honest and fair map. Please reject Hunter Barnett and Aislinn Kottwitz's attempt to subvert the non-partisan body's recommendations. Thanks, G.
