I supported the open primary initiative and Amendments Y and Z and served on the executive committee. I have donated to a few friends who ran for office in other states including Kim Wyman (WA-R), Maggie Toulouse-Oliver (NM-D), and Katy Owens Hubler (UT-D). I also supported my friend Jeff Bridges (CO-D) for his campaign and Adam Kinzinger (IL-R) (a life-long friend) for his congressional race a few cycles ago.

I served as an elections official in Colorado for 13 years. I was the Director of Elections for the City and County of Denver, CO from 2011-2018 and advocated for improvements to our voting process to ensure all voters have access and the system is secure. I now serve on various boards focused on election policy improvements and I am also passionate about improving our educational system for our children.
I want to serve on the commission because I care deeply about a fair and equitable democracy for all and I believe redistricting is a key aspect of ensuring fairness.
I am unaffiliated and have been for my entire voting career. I also believe deeply that we need to temper partisan politics that control so much of our democratic systems. I have worked with legislators of both parties in Colorado and across the country to improve the voting system for all and I can bring that experience to this commission.
My masters is in comparative politics and included an academic track on research design, methodology, and analytics. My entire professional career has been centered around election administration and running large operational environments in high-stress and high-profile elections that required attention to detail, problem-solving, data analytics, and proactive development of solutions.
