Statement

We need legislation to affect improvement of our public transportation system. It need to include the conduct of public use, the driver's plight, reliability, timeliness, comfort, and peace. The ultimate goal is to increase ridership while reducing the number of autos especially in the metro areas.

Statement on Working with Consensus

I am a good listener and can perceive the pros and cons of most issues. The idea is to find the one common thread all sides can agree to. My ability to be fair and impartial is honed by the society we all live in. I am a 70 year old black man that have had to live in a racially biased country. I have had to be "flexible" in many different ways throughout my life time. I understand most descrepancies very well.
