I believe the Latino community should have representation in this commission. Redistricting will have a significant impact on their daily lives with employment , educational opportunities, access to services and their general well being.
I understand that individuals and communities have different views and needs, and so I believe in finding common ground and I am willing to compromise to achieve the greater good for all.
First I seek all relevant information in order to assess the needs, the solutions, and impact of a decision. Information from data, statistics, studies, and personal testimonies will all be needed to produce districts that do not negatively impact communities of interest.
