Leslie Alvin Stephens
Retired, just closed my business Wheels of Time, LLC at 2930 S Tejon, Englewood. Still lease the building to another business.
Associates Degree in Electronics, graduated from East High School, Denver in 1964
Election judge for Jefferson County, member of the Boulder Meeting of Friends (Quaker)
As a member of the Boulder Meeting of Friends (Quakers), I've served on Ministry and Counsel, Oversight and Membership committees in the past. As a salesman at Sears from 1967-1993, I earned numerous "Symbols of Service" awards for representing customer interests to the best of my ability. My business had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
I've always thought it should be a level playing field and our current system has a tendency to favor a 2 party system. The process should be more equalized and represent all of the people of Colorado.
As a Quaker, I'm used to looking for unity in making decisions.
I'm a problem solver by nature; running a business that involved restoration of old cars, customer service and quality development were my most important goals. I'm used to listening to others and trying to find resolution to the problem(s) and issues, both in business and in my Quaker meeting.
