I believe I have voted in every election since I was 18. This year I have donated to the campaigns for Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, ACTBlue, NARAL ProChoice, Minnesota Defense Fund
Mom's Demand Action
I've attended town halls; participated in Mom's Demand Action with both the Boulder and the Westminster group; canvassed for Jason Crow in 2018, and I worked as an election worker for Adam's County in 2020
I'm working part time now while my son cannot attend school during the pandemic. I love being involved in my community, and this seems like a way to do so. I'm a 4th generation Coloradan and want to do everything I can to guarantee equal access to power and engagement across the state.
I am a justice oriented woman who is unafraid to speak up when I feel things are not right. I'm a Humanist chaplain, and my gift is listening to the the emotions behind words and letting people feel heard while engaging. My job often requires my skills mediating difficult end of life discussions and helping patients and families come to the best decisions for them, without my opinion coming up at all.
I'm a listener and connector. I can build relationships with others based on respect, whether we are similar or not. I'm very rational, I have a memory, and I pay attention to multiple views before making decisions.
